Getting to Blipvert Tower: From the lower parking lot in Skaha, follow signs on the main trail to Doctor’s Wall.

Apricot Jam Location: It is the leftmost line of bolts on the face to the right of the Max Headroom, the obvious crack.

Apricot Jam Protection: 14 quickdraws plus anchor gear. Bring two extendable draws for below the roof to help ease rope drag. One 60-metre rope.

Best Time to Visit Skaha: The best months to visit are April, May, June, September and October. The summer is too hot to enjoy long days at the bluffs, unless you spend it chasing shade.

Camping: There are many places to camp with Banbury Green being the favourite for most climbers.

Gear: Skaha has routes from 5.5 to 5.14 and up to three pitches. There are bolted climbs, trad climbs and mixed climbs. It’s recommended to bring up to 20 quickdraws and a single rack of gear if you’re planning on doing sport and mixed. Bring two racks of gear if you’re planning on going for the pure trad routes.
