Provo Canyon holds the record for having the largest amount of ice concentration in the region. It’s two most famous routes are Bridal Veil Falls and Stairway to Heaven. Stairway to Heaven is a multi pitch climb which tends to be the go-to destination for people just starting off.
Providing a rich variety of climbs for all levels it’s easily one of the most popular choices among the community. Classic ice routes include: Stairway to Heaven WI5+R, 10 pitches; Bridal Veil Left WI4/5, two pitches; White Nightmare WI4, two pitches; and The Fang WI5, three pitches.
