MAPLE CANYON
Apart from being one of the best places to go rock climbing during the summer, Maple Canyon is one of the top places to go ice climbing during the winter season. During the winter when the maple trees are covered in snow, they give it a beautiful winter sight.
Maple Canyon has a large selection of routes to choose from depending on your level of expertise. One very famous part of Maple Canyon, is its famous Box Canyon. For the more advanced ice climbers Box canyon provides challenging routes such as the Maple Syrup and Cobble Cruncher. Classic ice routes include: Roadside Couloir WI3; Chicken Limbo WI3; Bowling Ball Head WI3+; Cobble Cruncher WI4; and Get Whacked WI5+.
