Self Medication M7 in Kananaskis Country

Gripped - - NEWS -

Self Medication is the newest route on Rehab Wall in Kananaskis Country’s Evan Thomas Creek. It was established and sent by Seven Reed and Ryan Daniel Patteson and goes at M7 over 33 metres past 13 bolts. Patteson said, “It’s about 10 metres right of Supermodel M7. Unsurprisingly, it climbs similarly to Physiotherapy M7 and Supermodel, a couple of my favourites. Pumpy Dry tooling on natural holds and ice blobs. The climbing is sustained at the grade and doesn’t let up until you’re situated on the upper ice. Expect a mouthful of dirt somewhere along the way. We think it’s cool. Long draws and shoulder-length slings are useful. A couple ice screws are necessary.”
