Ja­son Jacque

Inuit Art Quarterly - - CONTRIBUTO­RS -

is a self-taught artist, based in Postville, Nu­natsi­avut, a small com­mu­nity on the north coast of Labrador. Mar­ried, with two daugh­ters, he cre­ates sculp­ture and jew­ellery from tra­di­tional ma­te­ri­als, in­clud­ing stone, baleen and bone, in ad­di­tion to graphic works. Jacque has worked with New­found­land and Labrador Hy­dro since 2000 and in his spare time is an ac­tive hunter and trap­per.
