Wanda Nanibush
is an Anishinaabe-kwe curator, image and word warrior, and community organizer from Beausoleil First Nation and Assistant Curator of Canadian and Indigenous Art at the Art Gallery of Ontario. Her curatorial credits include the exhibitions Toronto: Tributes + Tributaries, 1971-1989 (2016-17), Sovereign Acts II (2017), The Fifth World (2016) and the award-winning KWE: Photography, Sculpture, Video and Performance by Rebecca Belmore (2014). She is currently completing two films and recently published her first book, Violence No More: The Rise of Indigenous Women (2016).
