Wanda Nanibush

Inuit Art Quarterly - - CONTRIBUTO­RS -

is an Anishi­naabe-kwe cu­ra­tor, im­age and word war­rior, and com­mu­nity or­ga­nizer from Beau­soleil First Na­tion and As­sis­tant Cu­ra­tor of Cana­dian and In­dige­nous Art at the Art Gallery of On­tario. Her cu­ra­to­rial cred­its in­clude the exhibition­s Toronto: Tributes + Trib­u­taries, 1971-1989 (2016-17), Sov­er­eign Acts II (2017), The Fifth World (2016) and the award-win­ning KWE: Pho­tog­ra­phy, Sculp­ture, Video and Per­for­mance by Re­becca Bel­more (2014). She is cur­rently com­plet­ing two films and re­cently pub­lished her first book, Vi­o­lence No More: The Rise of In­dige­nous Women (2016).
