Matthew Ryan Smith

Matthew Ryan Smith, PhD, is the Curator of the Glenhyrst Art Gallery of Brant in Brantford, ON, and Literary Editor of First American Art Magazine. He is also a writer and sessional lecturer of Indigenous art at the University of Toronto Mississauga. Smith has published extensively on art and visual culture in publications including Canadian Art, Border Crossings, Prefix Photo, esse arts + opinions and Briarpatch, among many others.
