SIS Showbands present concert April 13

“The ‘80s and More.” The concert will feature the SIS music program’s four showbands and houseband along with a number of solo singers.

Other artists’ works included in the program are Journey, Bonnie Raitt, ABBA, REO Speedwagon, Cyndi Lauper, Guns and Roses and more. The Summerside school’s music director, Peter Gallant, says, “This is my last showband concert here at SIS – time to have some fun!”

The concert will be staged in the school’s cafetorium. Admission of $5 per seat (maximum $20 per family) will go towards expenses for the band program’s upcoming trip to the Atlantic Festival of Music April 26 to 28.
