Congratula­tions to our most recent Student of the Week – Brooklyn Martin.

COURSE REGISTRATI­ON

Parent and students are invited to register for next year’s courses on Feb. 28. We will be using the online program called myBlueprin­t (www.myblueprin­t.ca/pei).

This program assists students in planning for their remaining years in high school. It will also allow them to explore possible post-secondary options. Grade 9 students and their parents are invited to the come to the Computer Lab at 6 p.m. while students and parents in Grade 10 will meet in the Computer Lab at 7 p.m. and students and parents in Grade 11 will meet at 7 p.m. in the KRHS Library.

TEACHER/STAFF APPRECIATI­ON WEEK

Sincere thanks to all students and parents for the delicious treats and kind gestures during Teacher/Staff Appreciati­on Week. We are certainly very appreciati­ve of the efforts of so many students and parents for helping to make Teacher/Staff Appreciati­on Week special here at KRHS.

YEARBOOK PARENT ADS

Attention Grad 2017 Parents - Yearbook Parent ads will be a quarter-page in size and the cost is $50 per ad.

Send the picture and message to ldcousins@cloud.edu.pe.ca or Olivia Mullins before Friday, March 3.

CASINO NIGHT

The grad executive will be putting on a casino night for the grad class on Tuesday, March 7. There will be various casino games with prizes to be won. There will be a small fee to participat­e and all grads are encouraged to attend.

BLAZER SPORTS

Open Gym – There will be Open Gym after school on Tuesdays and Fridays from 3 to 4 p.m.

Senior Women’s & Men’s Basketball – The results from the Feb. 21 games against Bluefield 2: Girls won their game 3534. Top scorers for KRHS were Rachel Green with 9, Rebecca Green and Maggy McGrath with 8, and Elizabeth Phillips with 6.

The boys lost their game 5131. Top scorers for KRHS were Ethan Lawless with 11, Brayden Lawless and Bailey Dawson with 5, and Robert Greenan with 4.
