March breaking at the library

Spring break always one of busiest weeks of the year at Summerside Rotary Library

- Rebecca Boulter

March Break is always one of the busiest weeks of the year in the library. We love having so many people spend their staycation with us. Once again this year we have many free events planned for March Break at the Library.

On Tuesday, March 21, at 1 p.m. children and teens are invited to join us for a Mini Putt Challenge. Join us for a round of mini-golf set up in the library. Test your skills and enjoy the library in a new way. On Wednesday, March 22, at 1 p.m. children and teens are invited to join us for some serious button crafting. We will have button project inspirations for all ages and skill levels. Supplies will be provided.

On Thursday, March 23, at 1 p.m. we will be having loads of fun with Life Sized Board Games. Join us as we play larger than life versions of popular board games. On Friday, March 24, at 1 p.m. we will be hosting an Escape Room program.

The clock is ticking. Test your wits by solving puzzles and clues to make your escape from the library. We will have one room set up for ages 6 to 12 and one room for teens. Our final March Break event will take place on Saturday, March 25, at 2:30 p.m. Children of all ages are invited to join us for Lego Challenges. Drop in and build with Lego.

Larger blocks are available for younger children.

If you’re travelling over March Break don’t forget to drop by the library to stock up on books, audiobooks, and music for your trip. Or, visit our website to download free ebooks and music.
