Lots of events planned for July

- Rebecca Boulter

The library is a great spot to cool off on a sunny summer day, and we have lots of events planned during July.

Join us Tuesday July 4 at 6:30 p.m. for the Free Money Management Seminar Series with Anne Flynn. The topic for this month will be “Saving Emergency Funds and Investing.” This series will show you how to take control of your money and your life. This is a family friendly program and attendees are welcome to bring their children. The TD Summer Reading Club starts on Tuesday, July 4, and will run until the end of August. Join us for fun free programs for all ages. Programs for children in kindergarten to Grade 3 will take place on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. Programs on Wednesdays at 10 a.m. will be for children in Grades 4 to 6. Thursdays at 10 a.m. we will continue with our Preschool Storytime program. Thursdays at 1:30 p.m. we will be hosting Summer Reading Club programs for teens. Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. we will be hosting fun programs for all ages. Visit the library to register for the TD Summer Reading Club and join in on the fun.

We’re excited to partner with our friends at the East Prince Seniors Initiative to offer a series of free computer courses. The first course will be an introduction to Twitter. Join us Wednesday July 12 from 1 to 3 p.m. to learn Twitter basics. This program is open to all ages.

The Friends of the Library will be holding a Sidewalk Book Sale on Thursday, July 13, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. All proceeds go to support library programs.
