Helping people discover their ‘Why’

Motivational speaker Corey Poirier releases his 13th book

-

Some studies have indicated that less than five per cent of people will discover their why, their purpose, in their lifetime. Motivational multiple-time TEDx Speaker and author Corey Poirier has dedicated much of his life to helping people discover their why sooner. This is also why the Summerside resident recently released his 13th book around the theme of helping people discover their why. The book also includes bonus insight from almost 150 thought leaders, including Canadian music icon Bif Naked, and Ami James of the popular “Miami Ink” TV show. And the book is completely free for a limited time.

Based on his research into the power of learning one’s why, the new book, aptly titled “WHY,” is rooted in thousands of hours of personal interviews with some of the world’s top leaders. Asked why this book, and why free, Poirier shared, “I didn’t discover my why until I was well into my 20s. I wish I would have discovered it sooner. This book is my way of helping others discover their true calling sooner, and offering it for free is my way of giving back as a thank you for all of the blessings I have received since discovering my why.”

No stranger to inspirational individuals, Poirier has interviewed more than 4,000 influential leaders along the lines of Olympian Heather Moyse, “Chicken Soup” co-creator Jack Canfield, Rick Hansen, Olympic gold medalist Silken Laumann, and actor Kevin Sorbo.

Poirier notes that one of the things that sets these inspiring individuals apart is that they are living on purpose, and living with passion, daily.

A motivational speaker since 2002, and an author since 2010, Poirier decided to release the new “WHY” book for free as a digital book for a limited time before preparing to list it on Amazon, in stores, and bring it on the road during his talks this fall.
