Puppet shows return to library

Monthly puppet shows return on Saturday Sept. 2 at 11 a.m. and will continue on the first Saturday of each month. Come in and watch our puppet play and then stay and make up your own.

The Junior Book Club returns on Saturday Sept. 9th at 1 p.m. and new members are welcome. The Junior Book Club is for children ages 6-12 years.

Meet up and share your thoughts with other readers your age. Bring a book to life through crafts and activities. This month the group will be talking about their favorite summer read and choosing a book club kit for next month. Drop-in Makerspace and Lego Club will also return on Saturday, Sept. 9. Join us every Saturday from 10 a.m. –noon for Makerspace, a program where families can gather to create, invent, and learn. Join us Saturdays at 2:30 p.m. for Lego Club and enjoy some Lego free play.

Join us Monday Sept. 18 at 6:30 p.m. for Life Skills 101: Car Repair. Learn how to change a flat, check tire pressure, check your oil level, top up your window washer fluids, and how to change a windshield wiper blade.

This will be the first in a series of monthly life skills programs.

The Life Skills series is perfect for teens and younger adults preparing to live on their own for the first time or for older adults looking to brush up on some skills.
