P.E.I. Connectors welcomes new regional program officer for Prince County
Cora Lee Dunbar is P.E.I. Connectors’ new regional program officer for Prince County.
PEI Connectors has announced the appointment of Cora Lee Dunbar as Regional Program Officer for Prince County.
Dunbar has 24 years of professional business experience in accounting, bookkeeping, income tax and business development. She began her career in Summerside as manager and shareholder at WJ MacGillivray Enterprises Ltd.
She played an integral role in the start-up and growth of the business, and purchased this business six years later. In 2000, she established ABI Business Services Inc., which she and her team successfully grew over a 15-year period. In 2015, she and her team merged with MRSB, where she continued to serve the Summerside area as principal and manager until February 2017. She then took some time to explore new opportunities.
Cora Lee graduated from Mount Allison University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1992. She serves on the Board of Directors with Finance P.E.I., and is on the audit committee. She is a member of the Summerside Rotary Club, and is active in its STRIVE Committee. She participates in 100 Women Who Care, and co-manages the Bantam A girls’ hockey team in Summerside.
As regional program officer, Dunbar will provide advisory services to immigrant entrepreneurs launching, purchasing or investing in businesses in Prince County, and will present local opportunities to clients throughout the province. She will be based at the Greater Summerside Chamber of Commerce office.
