ARSENAULT, MARIE YVONNE

The death occurred peacefully and with her family by her side at home in Summerside on Saturday, January 27, 2018 of

Marie Yvonne Arsenault, wife of the late Edmond Arsenault at the age of 93 years.

She was born in Urbainville, daughter of the late Joseph P. and Roseline Arsenault. Yvonne was a loving mother to Anne Marie (Thane) Birch, Ray (Marcia), Alfred (Barb), Philip (Sherry), Margaret Rose, Carl (Anne Marie), Eldon, Marcella (Paul) Currie, Bert (Marsha), Louise, Clarence (Carol Ann), Joey (Sheri), Corina (Mark) Mundy and Angela (Barry) Hynes. She was a cherished grandmother to 42 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren and will be forever remembered by her sisters-inlaw Barbara DesRoches, Joan Holmes, Katherine Morrison and Irene Quinn. She is predeceased by her parents, her husband, her brother Phil and grandchild Andrew. Resting at the Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home, Urbainville until Tuesday, January 31st , 2018 then to St. John the Baptist Church, Miscouche where funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery at a later date. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, January 30, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The Miscouche Ladies Auxiliary will hold a prayer service on Monday night at 6:45 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations in Yvonne’s memory to the St. John the Baptist Cemetery Fund, East Prince Home Care or to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
