CHAISSON, TROY

The funeral for Troy Chaisson, St. Edward was held Tuesday January 23, 2018 from the West Prince Funeral Home to the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road where funeral mass was celebrated by Rev. Albin Arsenault who also delivered the homily and had the prayers of final commendation and farewell. The first reading was read by Robbie Gallant. The second reading was read by Farrah Delaney. The prayers of the faithful were read by Stella Gallant. The church choir sang under the direction of Velda Gallant accompanied by organist Anita Doucette. Processional hymn was “Here I Am Lord”. Psalm was “In the sight of the angels I will sing your praises Lord”. Communion hymns were “Hymn of the 23 Psalm” and Pat and Daniel Drouin sang “Go Rest High On The Mountain” accompanied on guitars. Farewell song was “Song of the Angels” and recessional hymn was “Safe In The Arms Of Jesus”. Altar servers were Leo Gaudet, Francis Gaudet and Henry Gaudet. Eucharistic ministers were Alice Gallant, Annie Schurman and Claudia Gaudet. Honorary pallbearers were Jason Gaudet, Randall Gaudet, Rheal Gaudet, Floyd McLeod, Natalie Younker, Paul Gallant, Jody Gaudet, Peter Gaudet, Leo Chaisson, Albert McLeod, Eileen Gaudet, Shirley MacKay, Bruce Gallant. Andy Gallant, Darcy Gallant, Bernie Ellsworth, Johnny Chaisson, Tara Ellsworth, Crystal Oatway and Rodney McLeod. Active pallbearers were son Ricky Chaisson, Tyson Chaisson, Troy Butler, Darcy Arsenault, Kevin Delaney and George MacKay. Flowerbearers were daughter Tyra Perry, Martina Butler, Brianna Butler and Erin Gallant. Interment was in the church cemetery.
