Students exhibit school spirit

This week at KISH was Spirit Week, which was filled with fun dress-up days and an epic Pep Rally.

MONDAY

This was Rapper vs Rocker Day where students dressed up as rock and roll superstars or famous rappers.

After school KISH was busy with sports practices as badminton and softball practices took place. Flag football tryouts and a basketball clinic for grades 7 to 11 took place. TUESDAY

It was Tiki Tuesday where students dressed up in Hawaiianth­emed outfits. Smoothies were sold for $1 in the morning. After school, there was badminton practice, senior women’s softball practice, junior high girls flag football tryouts, and senior women’s rugby practice. WEDNESDAY

The Senior High french immersion students went on a field trip to Holland College for the program French For The Future where they practised their second language.

It was also Dress Your Best Day, and students looked very spiffy.

THURSDAY

It was Green and White Day, as well as Pep Rally Day, which was a huge success.

There was also a Bullet Journal Club meeting for students in grades 7 and 8.

Several of our student body members represente­d our school in the badminton provincial­s.

FRIDAY

There was no school due to an Area Associatio­n PD Day. NEXT WEEK

KISH will have Senior Prom on May 12.
