RCMP in­ves­ti­gat­ing af­ter dog shot near Nor­way, P.E.I.

Prince Dis­trict RCMP are in­ves­ti­gat­ing af­ter a dog was re­port­edly shot in the Nor­way area, near North Cape. The dog’s own­ers heard a shot in their neigh­bour­hood around 7:45 p.m. on June 4 and their dog came home suf­fer­ing se­ri­ous gun­shot wounds. They rushed it to a vet in O’Leary but it had to be put down. The in­ves­ti­ga­tion is con­tin­u­ing and the RCMP are re­quest­ing as­sis­tance from the pub­lic to help solve this crime. Any­one that may have heard the shot or has any in­for­ma­tion about this in­ci­dent, is asked to con­tact the West Prince RCMP de­tach­ment at 902853-9300.
