Bed­eque Area Mu­seum hosts a Straw­berry and Ice-cream So­cial

The Bed­eque Area His­tor­i­cal Mu­seum is hold­ing a straw­berry and ice-cream so­cial this Sun­day from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Cen­tral Bed­eque Park, op­po­site the mu­seum.

The Bed­eque Area His­tor­i­cal Mu­seum is hold­ing a Straw­berry and Ice-cream So­cial on Sun­day, July 15 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Cen­tral Bed­eque Park, op­po­site the mu­seum. Straw­ber­ries, short­cake and ice-cream will be served. If the weather is poor, the event will be held in the Com­mu­nity Room of the Wil­liam Call­beck Cen­tre. Though ‘store-bought’ ice­cream will be served, there will also be a chance to help make tra­di­tional home-made ice­cream made from cream, by hand-crank­ing an ice-cream maker. En­ter­tain­ment will be pro­vided and there will be raf­fle and draws for prizes. All pro­ceeds are in sup­port of the mu­seum’s work. Tick­ets are $6 for adults and $3 for chil­dren aged 12 and un­der and in­cludes free ad­mis­sion to the mu­seum.
