This November at the library

Upcoming programs at the Summerside Rotary Library, Inspire Learning Centre

Free monthly and weekly programs continue at the library in November. No registrati­on is required for these events. The Monthly Family Puppet Play will take place on Saturday, Nov. 3, at 11 a.m. The Bookworms Family Book Club for children ages 5 to 9 and their family member meets on Saturday, Nov. 10, at 1:30 p.m. The Book Wars Book Club for ages 10 to 14 meets on Saturday, Nov. 17, at 1:30 p.m. Bedtime Family Storytime will take place on Tuesday November 13 at 6 p.m.

The baby and toddler Wiggle, Giggle, Read program runs every Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. and is repeated on Fridays at 10:30 a.m. Family Storytime, for preschoole­rs and their families, runs every Thursday at 10:30 a.m. The dropin DIY program Imaginatio­n Station is set up from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturdays. Families are invited to gather to create, invent, and learn together with a new selfdirect­ed project each week. The Western Authors Group meets at the library on Saturday, Nov. 17, at 1 p.m. Writers are invited to meet new people, share ideas, and get feedback from fellow aspiring authors. New members are always welcome.

Teens Crafts will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 13, at 4 p.m. This is a group where teens ages 13 to 19 can come to have fun and let their imaginatio­ns soar as they put their own unique spin on a different craft every month. New members are always welcome.
