BERNARD, URBAIN JOSEPH BERNARD

The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital on Friday February 15th, 2019 of Urbain Joseph Bernard at the age of 82 years, formerly from Urbainvill­e. Born in Miscouche, he was the son of the late Eusebe Bernard and Catherine Gaudet. Urbain was a loving husband to Bibienne (Bea) Barriault. Also, a loving father to Earl, Allen (Barb), Robert (Debra), Kenneth (Charlene), Sandra (Alain) Arsenault. He will be forever remembered by brother Camille Bernard and sister Aldina (Luc) Rivest. Devoted Grandfathe­r to Andrea (Damien), Ashley (Nick), Candice (Mike), Shawn (Geena), Bionca (Derek), Venessa (Jesse), Rodney (Candy) and Paul (Crystal). Great-grandfathe­r to Geordie, Dax, Ria, Nash, Robin, Matheson, Wyatt, Madeline, Savanna, Kallie, Cohen, Brocklyn and Nicholas. He was predecease­d by his parents, brother Euclide and sisters Benita, Bertha and Eunice. Urbain was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. No.17, Wellington. Resting at the Évangéline Co-op Funeral Home, Urbainvill­e until Wednesday, February 20th, then to St. Philippe et St. Jacques Church, Baie Egmont where a funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place in the church cemetery at a later date. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, February 19th, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The Royal Canadian Legion Br. No.17 will hold a memorial service on Tuesday February 19th at 6:45 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations can be made in Urbain’s memory to the St. Philippe et St. Jacques Church Cemetery Fund would be greatly appreciate­d.
