The funeral for the late Kevin Stuart Clements beloved husband to Josephine Ann (nee Snyders) Clements of Montrose, P.E.I was held on Monday, August 5, 2019 from the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel Alberton to St. Marks Church Burton Lot 7, P.E.I where funeral mass was celebrated at 10:30 a.m. by the Rev. Danny Wilson who delivered the Homily and had the prayers of final commendati­on and farewell. The first scripture Reading, a reading from the Book of Wisdom was addressed by Sandy Snyders mother in law of the deceased. The second scripture reading a reading from the Book of Revelation­s was addressed by Gord Snyders Brother in Law of the deceased. The prayers of the faithful were invited by Vera Clements, aunt of the deceased. The Eucharisti­c minister was Vera Clements. The servers were James Clements and Stephen Clements. The Choir was under the direction of the organist Lorne Howard. The procession­al hymn was Here I Am Lord. The psalm was The Lord’s My Shepherd. The offertory hymn was I Will Never Forget You My People, The communion hymn was The Prayer of St. Francis Following communion, Sandra Jones, Ellen Cements, Laura Lee Shea Mary Clements sung the hymn,”Come To The Water”. The song of farewell was Songs of the Angels. The recessiona­l hymn was Be Not Afraid. The ushers were Barry Rogers and Raeford Rogers. The Urn Bearer was Daughter Christi-Jo Clements. The Honorary pallbearer­s were Gord Snyders, Dean Getson, Wayne Donahue, Steven Clements, Andy Jones, Kevin Perry and Dale Clements. Interment was in St.Marks Cemetery with Rev. Danny Wilson officiatin­g.
