ARSENAULT, Elizabeth Jean
The funeral for the late Elizabeth Jean Arsenault of Charlottetown and formerly of Alberton was held on Saturday August 3, 2019 from the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton to St. Anthony’s Church, Woodstock P.E.I where funeral mass was celebrated at 1:00 pm. by the Rev. Danny Wilson who delivered the Homily and had the prayers of final commendation and farewell. The Frist reading, a reading from the Book of Ecclesiates was addressed by granddaughter Tarra Lynn Shea. The second scripture reading, A reading from the second reading from St. Paul to Timothy was addressed by granddaughter Aldona O’Brien Jollimore. The Prayers of the faithfull were invited by son in law Leonard MacLellan. The Eucharistic ministers were Yvonne Wedge and Aldona Gallant. The Crucifer was Yvonne Wedge. The choir was under the direction of the organist Diane Handrahan. The processional hymn was Be Not Afraid. The psalm was The Lord is my Shepherd. The offertory hymn was In The Garden. The communion hymn was Hail Mary-Gentle Women. The song of farewell was Songs of the Angels. The recessional hymn was How Great Thou Art. The family wishes that all in attendance for the funeral liturgy consider themselves to be Honorary Pallbearers. The active pallbearers were her sons, Billy Arsenault, Merrill Arsenault, Cecil Arsenault, Gary Arsenault, Myles Arsenault and Blair Arsenault. The flower bearers were grandchildren, Daryl MacLellan, Mark Arsenault, Colin Arsenault, Karen MacLellan, Cathy Inman, Lana Arsenault, Terra Lynn Shea. Interment was in the church cemetery with Rev.
