SUMMERSIDE – Two Summerside Western Capitals’ rookies were recalled by Quebec Major Junior Hockey League teams for games Wednesday night.

Forward Bennett MacArthur joined the Acadie-Bathurst Titan while Isaac Wilson, who plays forward and defence, rejoined the Moncton Wildcats. The Titan hosted the Cape Breton Eagles in Bathurst, N.B., while the Wildcats visited the Saint

John Sea Dogs.

MacArthur, an 18-year-old Summerside native, made his second appearance with the

Titan this year. He is third in Caps’ team scoring with 19 goals and 18 assists for 37 points in 27 regular-season games.

The 17-year-old Wilson, who is from Vernon River, is no stranger to the Wildcats as he went into Wednesday’s game with a goal and an assist in six regular-season contests with the Wildcats this year. He has three goals and seven assists for 10 points in 21 regular-season games with the Caps.

Two other rookie Caps – forward Colby MacArthur of Summerside and defenceman Zach Biggar of Portage – are playing with Team Canada East at this week’s World Junior A Hockey Challenge in Dawson Creek, B.C.
