Absolute Losers and NORTER playing at Sommo Festival

P.E.I. Indie rock bands include in lineups for Amazon Music sponsored side stage

Charlottet­own indie-rockers Absolute Losers and NORTER will be among the dozen acts to perform on the Sommo Festival's little sister stage this September.

Organizers announced the eclectic full lineup for the Amazon Music Sandbar Stage accompanyi­ng the event's main stage in Cavendish on Sept. 13-14.

“We're even more excited to have partnered with Amazon Music to bring one of our strongest Sandbar Stage lineups to life,” said Whitecap Entertainm­ent CEO Ben Murphy.

“With their help and insight we have gathered an incredible array of musicians spanning various genres, making us confident that Sommo will deliver an exceptiona­l experience to every single attendee, no matter their musical preference.”

Performers hitting the stage after the Losers get the crowd warmed up as the opening act include Calgary singersong­writer Shaela Miller,

Lily Fitts — whose version of 'Stick Season” caught the attention of Friday night's Grammy-Nominated headliner Noah Kahan — “The Voice” contestant Zach Seabaugh, JUNO-nominated pop singer-songwriter elijah woods and three-time JUNOwinnin­g rapper TOBi.

Joining NORTER on day two are Jim Beam National Talent Search Winners

Andre Pettipas and The Giants, viral Canadian TikTok sensation LØLØ, singersong­writer BabyJake, acoustic storytelle­r Jonah Kagen and up-and-coming Nova Scotia songstress Maggie Andrew.
