Jana Sterbak

This artist once created a dress out of meat that gradually went bad as it was displayed in the National Gallery of Canada. Sterbak often focuses on our bodies and the things we wear. Another sculpture from the mid-1980s called “I Want You to Feel the Way I Do” was also in the shape of a dress — this one was made of metal that could be electrified when plugged in.
