Folles et Fous
Their name translates as something like “The Crazies,” and this group of friends from the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design in Fredericton definitely lived up to it. Formed in the late 1990s, Folles et Fous felt strongly that art should reflect the environment, so they placed their sculptures and projects in hard-to-reach places that forced audiences to trek through nature. Picture a paper sculpture placed delicately on a water lily in a swamp or a wooden statue perched high in a tree and you get the idea.
