N.E. Thing Co.

Started by Iain and Ingrid Baxter in 1966 in Vancouver, this group wanted to make people rethink everything involved with creating and selling art. Probably the most famous project of N.E. Thing was the installation “Bagged Place.” It set up an entire house and all its familiar contents, with everything covered and contained in a clear plastic bag.
