Copy of U.S. Constitution goes for auction

Sotheby’s auction house is selling one of only two known privately held copies — and one only 13 copies known to exist — of the official edition of the U.S. Constitution. The manuscript will be auctioned in New York on December 13th. It holds an estimated value of €20 to €30 million. Last year, a rare first printing of the U.S. Constitution sold at Sotheby’s in New York for €43 million.
