Great par­ti­ci­pa­tion of Mi­li­ta­ry Fa­mi­lies

On Sa­tur­day, June 16th, as part of Re­crea­tion Month, the re­crea­tion sec­tion of CFB Bav­got­ville or­ga­ni­zed a large event for com­mu­ni­ty mem­bers. This year, in col­la­bo­ra­tion with CA­NEX, the PSP team in­vi­ted mem­bers to go to the In­ter­na­tio­nal Kite Fes­ti­val, St- Ho­no­ré dans l'Vent.

More than 320 mi­li­ta­ry and ci­vi­lian mem­bers and their fa­mi­lies took the op­por­tu­ni­ty to wit­ness beau­ti­ful kite de­mons­tra­tions and shows for all ages, for­tu­na­te­ly with beau­ti­ful wea­ther. Ar­thur the Ad­ven­tu­rer and Ja­no, a sha­dow and pup­pet show work­shop, were present to en­ter­tain the young­ster, the au­dience al­so en­joyed wat­ching An­nie Ville­neuve as well as the Abraka­daboom troupe and its fire show. Ano­ther po­pu­lar at­trac­tion was the CF- 18 sta­tic dis­play, pro­vi­ded by the Royal Ca­na­dian Air Force. The Pa­tro de Jon­quière team de­ligh­ted eve­ryone with a fes­tive show, and the CLS­re­seau wind pa­vi­lion was al­so a main at­trac­tion. Those who held out un­til the eve­ning en­joyed a su­perb de­mons­tra­tion with the Hy­dro- Qué­bec night flight. PSP Re­crea­tion Ma­na­ger Claire Des­chênes was ve­ry p l e a s e d w i t h t h e par­ti­ci­pa­tion of the mem­bers of CFB Ba­got­ville in this event and thanks eve­ryone who be­ne­fi­ted from it.
