2 Wing Commander, Colonel Luc Guillette, challenged his troops to move for the month of May to promote a healthier lifestyle and members responded with energy and enthusiasm to t h e i r C o m m a n d e r ' s request.

The 2 Wing Commanding Officer's Sporst Challenge featured four combined events during the month of May. First, a 5 km race was held on May 18th. Then, members had to register for a recurring sporting event, a club or a sports program. The military was also invited to take the Force test at the beginning and end of the month to see the improvement. Finally, the fourth component of the Challenge was to participate in unit sporting activities. Although the Challenge took place at the same time as Op CADENCE's preparation, members of 2 Wing honored their Commanding Officer by largely participating. The Commanding Officer issued several certificates to congratulate the participants who excelled at the challenge ( see opposite table) during 2 Wing’s quarterly meeting.
