Bagotville runs against Cancer

On September 20th, the Bagotville Race commenced on his 14th edition. This year, for the first time, the race partnered with the Terry Fox Foundation to raise funds for cancer research.

In total, 352 people participated in the activity. Dinner was available after the race with the sale of hot dogs, pizza and fresh fruit; raising close to $ 720 for the Terry Fox Foundation.

CFB Bagotville members deployed to Romania also held a race to benefit the Terry Fox Foundation a week later. On September 29th, about 100 military members of Operation Reassurance walked or ran on North Constanta Beach. More than $ 2,000 was raised for this activity, well over the $ 1,500 goal set by the organizers.
