Le Vortex de Bagotville

Must see at museum this summer

-

Visitors to the Bagotville Air Defense Museum this summer will be able to take advantage of two important additions to the activities offered to them.

The first will be the Sky Adventurer youth exhibition which will immerse children in the heart of the pilot's action in an entertaining and interactive world. Through observation, deduction and association games, the young people will perform various tests in order to distinguish themselves among the elite of the aviators. This brand new exhibition was entirely designed by the Bagotville museum team and is primarily intended for clients aged 6 to 12.

The second innovation is the arrival of two virtual reality CF-18 simulators. People will be able to take the controls of a CF-18 Hornet and get the experience of being a fighter pilot in the Royal Canadian Air Force by carrying out aerial combat, flight skills or attack missions on the ground.

In addition to these two important novelties, visitors will always have the chance to learn about the history of Canadian military aviation and Bagotville with the multimedia exhibition Masters of the Sky. In addition, it will be possible to discover the aircraft fleet with State of Alert and its augmented reality. The visit to CFB Bagotville will remain a popular activity and will remain available to those interested.

The Air Defense Museum will open its doors for the peak tourist season 2021 on June 14.

Obviously, sanitary measures will be mandatory for a visit to the museum (procedural mask, hand washing and respect for social distancing of two meters.)

Museum guides will be on hand to welcome visitors every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
