Take advantage of services for families

-

Certain services and certain organizations are so much a part of the everyday landscape that we even end up forgetting their existence. This is sometimes the case for the Military Family Resource Center (MFRC), which takes advantage of this period of change to remind people that the center is always there to support members and their families in many ways.

The CRFM team first reminds the military that it is their responsibility to provide information on their family members to the center so that they can be informed of the various services offered and to serve them adequately. Members of military and veteran families can come to the MFRC, whose offices are in the community center, in the family housing sector, at any time from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to noon and from 1 p.m. 4 p.m.

Among the many services offered by the Bagotville CRFM, we note support services or programs, personalized follow-up upon arrival during an assignment, absence support (calls, emails, parental respite, etc.).

The center also offers psychosocial support for individuals, couples, and children to help them meet the challenges associated with military life.

Those who wish to take part in community life can also find volunteer opportunities, professional and academic guidance as well as language courses.

Young people are also at the heart of the CRFM's services with the Respite Stop for young people, parent-child groups, and Teen Town for teenagers.

Don’t forget to stop by the CRFM so that the whole family can benefit from these many services and many others.

Also follow the Bagotville CRFM Facebook page or visit the website to find out about upcoming activities.
