Leaders don’t care about the children

LETTER TO THE EDITOR

-

Re: “Kenney hurts gay youth cause: Eggen,” March 30 Herald.

Regarding Jason Kenney’s Facebook post reacting to David Eggen’s accusation: Nowhere in the Canadian Press article in The Herald does it mention the story that Kenney relates in his post about a mother of an autistic girl who told him that her daughter had been put in counselling at school and “referred to as a boy” and “given a boy’s name.” Disturbing enough? It gets even more disturbing because the parents knew nothing about this!

Kenney, however, in his ever-sonauseating politically correct style, says in his post that most parents would consider this “offensive” (the fact the parents didn’t know). Seriously? Offensive? Kenney should be helping the parents of the autistic child sue Alberta Education and the school for psychological abuse!

Where is the outrage from the media and public about what happened to this child? There is none. The Canadian Press article didn’t even mention this very disturbing account.

The child is lost between Kenney’s indifference to the truth, Eggen’s hostility to the truth, and their egos.

Eggen cares more about implementing an ideological agenda in schools, that of gender ideology, and Kenney is too concerned with being politically correct and selling his soul in order to get elected. Neither man cares about the welfare of children.

God help us.
