Parkinson Month events this week

-

Parkinson Alberta will host a number of events during the month of April, which is Parkinson Awareness Month. April 11 is World Parkinson Day — a day on which Parkinson Disease is recognized globally.

“These events are key fundraisers for Parkinson Alberta,” says Alicia Visser, client services co-ordinator for the Lethbridge region. “They allow us to provide Parkinson’s support services, education, advocacy and funds for research.”

Volunteers are encouraged to sign up to aid with events. They can do so by contacting Alicia directly.
