• Lethbridge Brain Trauma Support Society, for brain injury survivors and their families and friends, meets Monday, 7:30 p.m., St. Michael’s Health Centre, 1400 9 Ave. S., Lethbridge, east door entrance. The group normally meets the first Monday of the month but when that is a holiday, the meeting moves to the second Monday.
• The Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour will visit the Lethbridge Public Library’s Main Branch Jan. 8–13 in the Theatre Gallery. The film lineup will include: The Last Honey Hunter (2017), Best Film: Mountain Culture; Intersection: Micayla Gatto (2017), Best Film: Mountain Sports; Into Twin Galaxies (2017), Special Jury Mention; The Frozen Road (2017), Special Jury Mention. • Seasons Lethbridge, 1730 10 Ave. S. (across from the hospital), will host a Mini Spa Day Jan. 9 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., featuring mini pedicures, mini manicures, mini massages at reasonably priced senior rates. Walk-ins welcomed.

• Galt Museum’s Wednesdays at the Galt hands-on history program for adults and seniors continues Jan. 10 from 2-3 p.m., featuring “Comic Collecting.” Join Wallie, owner of Kapow Comics, Cards and Games, as he explains the beginnings of comic book collecting and how his own comic collection led him to start his own comic store. Admission fees apply (includes exhibit access); free to annual pass holders.
• Revellers Dinner and Games Night will be held Jan. 10 at the basement level at The Keg (Country Kitchen Catering) on Mayor Magrath Drive South (facility is wheelchair accessible). • Do you, or someone you know, have a gambling problem which is causing havoc in your life and relationships? • Lethbridge Legal Guidance, a nonprofit society offering free legal advice to low-income southern Albertans, holds clinics Tuesdays from 5-7 p.m. by appointment only. Some of the areas the society assists in include: Family, civil, criminal, traffic, employment, residential tenancy, immigration, AISH, EI and social assistance issues. • La Leche League meets monthly (typically the second Tuesday of each month) and provides breastfeeding support and research-based information to pregnant and breastfeeding mothers. • Alzheimer Society Caregiver Support Group meets the second Tuesday of each month from 2-3:30 p.m. at Clearview Lodge, 4730 50 Ave., in Taber.
• Stroke Care Partner Support Group
meets second Tuesday of every month (Sept. to May) at 6:50 p.m. at the Lethbridge Seniors Centre Organization, Room B. Anyone who provides any level of care to a stroke survivor is welcome. • Registration for the 2018 Lethbridge and District Music and Speech Arts Festival is open. • Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization will offer “Movement Medicine” Thursdays, Jan. 18-March 29 (no class Feb. 22) from 5:15-6:15 p.m. at the LSCO, 500 11 St. S. (Free demonstration class Jan. 11 at 5:15 p.m.) Nia-inspired Movement Medicine is a celebration of the way your body moves — a blend of dance, sing a long music, martial and healing arts.
