Improvements make online swim registration easier

- LETHBRIDGE HERALD

Since online swim lesson registration began in August, nearly half of the fall sign-ups where done electronically through the new online leisure services system.

The City of Lethbridge says, also, during the last two months that modifications to the navigation and operation of the site have been made to ensure even more residents can easily access the system when the next round of registrations begin.

The 2019 winter swim lesson registration for Stan Siwik and Nicholas Sheran pools will begin at 9 a.m. on Nov. 6. Those wishing to book lessons should ensure they have an account created and all of their family members added before that date.

Both account creation and online registration can be

accessed by visiting www.lethbridge.ca/swimless ons.

Payment issues that slowed down the system for the initial rollout have been resolved, the City says, and should make registration quicker. Staff have also taken feedback from users and implemented changes to the navigation of the site making it more intuitive and simpler for residents to use.

Swim lesson registration can also be done by calling or visiting any of the Recreation Excellence operated pools (Stan Siwik, Nicholas Sheran and Fritz Sick) in person. Additional options like booking recreation facilities and purchasing skate passes will be added to the City’s online leisure services system in the coming months.
