Colorado Avalanche — and led the Pats in scoring this season with 15 goals and 40 points in 25 games.

In 150 career games, all with the Pats, Henry has 64 goals and 150 points.

“Nick is a proven goal scorer,” said Anholt. “I don’t know Nick personally, but I’ve heard nothing but good from him as a person. They’re not only good players, but good people.”

Both of the newest Hurricanes also bring some Memorial Cup experience, having played in the tournament when Regina hosted in May and advancing to the final.

Joseph, 19, spent his entire threeyear WHL career with the Hurricanes after being selected in the fifth round and 98th overall in the 2014 bantam Draft.

Hailing from Sherwood Park, Joseph had 10 goals and 19 points in 23 games this season with the Canes, which included a 10-game point streak earlier this month.

In 144 games with Lethbridge, he has 22 goals and 66 points and five goals and 15 assists in 36 playoff games as part of the Hurricanes runs to the Eastern Conference finals the last two years.

“(It’s) always hard to give up a player that’s been a Hurricane his whole career,” said Anholt. “As a 17year-old he was a big part of our first run to the East final and last year he had a bit of a downside as far is his 18 (-year-old) year, but again, really stepped it up in playoffs for us and was having a great year this year. We’re giving up a really good player. We like Jadon Joseph not only as a player, but as a person. He comes from a fantastic family, so that’s always hard to do.”

Kolle, who is 18 and hails from Kamloops, came to Lethbridge in a deal with the Portland Winterhawks earlier this season and had seven goals and 11 points in 17 games with the Hurricanes.

“He’s one of those players that when he moves his legs he can be a real impactful player,” said Anholt. “He was really starting to play well, especially on that road trip. He was one of those guys Regina wanted in the deal and both of those players are going to go to the team and have different roles and expanded roles. I have nothing but good things to say about the Regina Pats and John Paddock. They’re a classy organization.”

“We talked about defending the perimeter and we didn’t do a good enough job defending and they hit shots. Credit to that team. If you give up 11 threes like that it’s tough to keep the momentum. We have to do a better job protecting the three-point line and hope they cool off in their own gym a little bit. We just have to start out defensive intensity sooner.”

Still, the Horns’ late surge made sure the Dinos didn’t leave with an easy win.

“I think it was the intensity in the fourth quarter,” said Fomina, who ended the night with 14 points and four steals. “We felt urgency to pick up because we were down 20 and we had that grit for the last minute. I wish it was the whole game because we were too soft. We had some miscommunication on defence as well.”

Kacie Bosch led the Pronghorns with 20 points. Katie Keith had 14 rebounds and four assists.
