Hurricanes vs. Ice The Lethbridge Hurricanes welcome the Kootenay Ice to the ENMAX Centre tonight at 7:00pm. Tonight will be the fifth of six meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and the Ice. Three-in-Three: Tonight is the middle game of a three-in-three weekend for the Hurricanes. The ‘Canes kicked off the weekend last night against Edmonton and will wrap up the weekend tomorrow afternoon in Edmonton against the Oil Kings. Hurricanes are 2-0-0-0 in the middle game of a three-inthree this year. This weekend is the third of four three-in-three weekends the ‘Canes will play this season. Ice Dominance: The Hurricanes have had their way in recent memory with the Kootenay Ice. Tonight will be the fifth meeting of the season between the two teams as Lethbridge has won all four prior match-ups. The ‘Canes are an impressive 10-1-0-0 in their last 11 head-to-head meetings. Deja-Vu: It’s been a weird schedule for the Hurricanes this week. Tonight will be the second meeting of the week between the ‘Canes and Ice. Lethbridge downed Kootenay 3-2 on Wednesday at the ENMAX Centre. Ice netminder Jesse Makaj was stellar in that game making 51 saves. On the Road: Tonight is the second of a six game road trip for the Ice. Kootenay will head east to Saskatchewan for four games, including two in Brandon next weekend. The Ice enter tonight having lost their last 12 road games as their last road win was November 1st. Get Yours!: There are still tickets available for tonight’s game. Get yours online at www.enmaxcentre.ca, by calling 403-329-SEAT (7328) or by visiting the ENMAX Centre or Yates Ticket Centre’s.
