Webinars presented for uncertain travellers

-

Recognizing that winter can be depressing, Lethbridgebased WOW Tours International Inc. wants to entice people to travel with its Bucket List Travel webinars.

“Between my husband D’Arcy and I, we have over 55 years of European travel and we are constantly being asked to share our travel adventures,” says Lynda Kavanagh, president of the two-decadeold travel consulting company, in a news release.

“People have told us they don’t have time to go to a presentation or to search aimlessly online and webinars would be attractive since they can watch in the comfort of their own homes.”

In a single webinar, Kavanagh says a user can get information that can save hours of reading travel books or aimlessly searching the web.

“We’re responding to a changing marketplace and believe webinars are a great service during this era when time is at a premium,” she said.

The company’s first webinar is 7 Days in Paris and will be offered at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Other scheduled webinars will be 7 Days in Provence, France on Feb. 19; 7 Days in Barcelona, Spain on March 6; 7 Days in Scotland on April 9; and 7 Days on the French Riviera May 1. O

Each webinar will be 60 minutes with another 15 minutes to answer questions from viewers. Further information, and costs, about the company’s webinars is available at wowtours.com.
