Three concerts planned for Yates

Juno award-winning Dan Mangan performing Sunday

- Nick Kuhl nkuhl@lethbridgeherald.com

Dan Mangan, Platinum Blonde and The Tea Party are all set to play the Yates Theatre in Lethbridge. Not on the same night, though. The Juno award-winning Mangan will play Sunday night, hosted as a collaboration of the Geomatic Attic and New West Theatre. Opening the show will be Shaye Zadravec.

Canadian rockers Platinum Blonde will perform at the Yates on March 15, in a show presented by Crabby Productions. The band is best known for the string of radio hits in the 1980s, such as “Crying Over You,” “Somebody Somewhere,” and “Not In Love.”

On May 1, The Tea Party will visit the Lethbridge venue as a stop on their Black River tour, in support of their latest single. Since its origins in 1990, the band has sold more than two million albums.

Only limited tickets remain for that show, say staff at Crabby Productions who are also hosting The Tea Party. Tickets for all the shows are available at by calling 403-329-7328 or at the Enmax and Yates box offices. Follow @NKuhlHerald on Twitter
