AT AUCTION
1933 Pierce-Arrow Model 1236, sold, US $48,700: Before going bankrupt in 1937, Pierce-Arrow built some impressive high-class automobiles such as this 150-horsepower V-12 sedan. The seller claims it was stripped of its body sometime during in the 1930s to go land-speed racing at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah. The car appears in good shape overall and the selling price seems fair. (Source: ebaymotors.com)
