FIRST-TIMER WINS OVER GREEN
JUDGES: The 2020 Toyota Corolla Hybrid has been selected as the “Green Car of the Year” by the Green Car Journal and its panel of 11 experts who evaluated the field of competitors. The 2020 model year marks the first time the Corolla has been offered as a hybrid. YET ANOTHER VW EV CONCEPT: Volkswagen has introduced its latest electric concept vehicle called the ID. Space Vizzion. VW says the design “combines the aerodynamic design of a Gran Turismo with the spaciousness and versatility of an SUV.”
KIA RAMPS UP FOR YET ANOTHER
UTILITY VEHICLE: The automaker has a new SUV called the Seltos, which will debut in North America as a 2021 model. To kick off the launch of the Seltos at the recent Los Angeles Auto Show, Kia rolled out a couple of concept vehicles designed for serious off-roading.
