Correction

In a recent presentation to the Southern Alberta Council on Public Affairs, Lethbridge West MLA Shannon Phillips reported 74 Lethbridge job losses resulting recently from the provincial government’s budget cuts.

While she reported 25 employees at the Family Centre have been issued layoff notices, Phillips also listed 49 “positions lost” — not the term “laid off” as reported in The Herald story — within Lethbridge schools and the University of Lethbridge.
