Children’s Benefit Gala will be held March 28 at 5:30 p.m. at the Coast Hotel Lethbridge, in support of the emergency youth shelter, The CORE. This 8-bed facility provides youth under the age of 18 with a bed, 3 meals a day, laundry facilities, showers, clothing and crisis counsellin­g and support services. This year’s gala includes a musical performanc­e of “Frozen” by students of St. Francis Middle School, a streamline­d check-in, a condensed program, an amazing meal sponsored by College Ford Lincoln, “backto-paper” silent and live auctions and entertainm­ent by The Chevelles. The gala is presented by Matt and Catherine Furukawa along with College Ford Lincoln. Early-bird ticket special expires Jan. 18.
