Hoping FOR A HOME

MATCHING PETS WITH PEOPLE

-

Jerome fancies himself a lap-cat. Jerome weighs 10 kilograms. That’s not all you need to know about this five-and-a-half-year-old, all-grey gentleman, but it says a lot. He’s an affectionate fellow, and ready to give his affection to a person all his own. The truth is, he’s a bit lonely — for people. He wants to chase toys that move fast — he can move fast, too, despite that barrel of a body — and jump and roll, all with a person looking on and laughing at his fun. And afterward, some attentive cuddling from said person. Jerome’s a big softy. Size is a big part of Jerome, and he really wouldn’t mind somebody helping him lose a little of it. He could do it, too, in a new home with loving humans. But big or small, Jerome is a loving, adventurous, sensitive soul. Find out more about him by calling the PAW Society at 403-3286700 or send an inquiry at pawsociety.com. A lap-cat who weighs ten kilograms. That’s one big feline heart waiting for someone’s love. Cold weather and cats in need of help. We are doing our best to help as many as possible. Needing foster homes and donations in order to help more. Velvet is an example of a grateful cat who was brought in from bitter weather. She is a calm and gentle cat who would be a wonderful family member. Please visit us at www.thelastchancecatranch.com and www.facebook.com/lastchancecatranch to read more about what we do. Our first Craft and Information event, Urban Tails, is next Saturday, Jan. 25 at The Hut. We will have cat grass, baking and a great selection of cat themerelated items for sale. Stop by and visit with us from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thank you to everyone who supports our rescue efforts and cares about homeless cats in need of help.

Jersey is a sweet young lady, playful and affectionate! She came to the Humane Society in early 2018. She loves to run and play, and is a typically inquisitive girl. She likes people, and takes occasional breaks from playing, so that she can have a snuggle! Jersey is hoping for a Forever Home where she can have lots of attention. If you are interested in meeting Jersey, you can see her at the Lethbridge Humane Society (2920 16 Ave. N. or call 403-3208991). Clarabelle is approximately eight years old. She came to Purrfect Endings Rescue in June 2013 with a badly broken leg that required amputation. Due to her fractious behaviour she has been a resident of Purrfect Endings. Clarabelle is one of three cats that require dental work. We have many permanent residents who require ongoing medical care and/or special food. Our bill is so huge right now and we are in desperate need of help to pay it down. No amount is too small. Donations can be made directly to Green Acres Animal Hospital (403 327-8660); by etransfer: sixfurballz@telus.net or by donating proceeds from bottle recycling at Ability Bottle Depot South. For more information please contact Linda (403-381-9269) or Sam (403-382-0977) of Purrfect Endings Rescue. We are also on Facebook. Thank you so much to those individuals who have donated.

Josie is a seven-month-old mixedbreed girl that was found as a stray with her sister Dolly. She is a fun, happy girl who is a bit shy at first but with a bit of time and reassurance she is your best friend. She loves going to the dog park, playing with her foster sister and cuddling on the couch. Josie would do best in an active home with another dog or two to play with, older kids and someone who is willing to keep working with her to build confidence. Visit

www.windycityrescue.com or call 403-359-3139 for more information.
