• The first-ever Pet Valu Virtual Walk for Dog Guides will take place May 31 in a physically distant manner. You are encouraged to show support for Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides by going for a walk, lifting weights, dancing in your living room, running on your treadmill, or anything physically active, all while practising physical distancing. Every dollar raised will support Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides and its mission to assist Canadians with a medical or physical disability by providing them dog guides at no cost. • The Mountain Bluebird Trails Conservation Society invites you to its annual Trail Orientation Day June 6 to see an active nest box trail in operation here in Lethbridge. It's free! We will gather at the Helen Schuler Nature Centre at 9 a.m., drive to a westside farm and wrap up by noon. Participation will be limited to 15 people. Safe distancing measures will be adhered to. • German Canadian Club of Lethbridge, 902 6 St. N., will hold a German Dinner Take-Out June 22 featuring staggered pickup between 3:30 and 5 p.m. (pickups alphabetically by last name - A-H, 3:30-4; I-R, 4-4:30; S-Z, 4:30-5). Dinner options: 2 cabbage rolls, mashed potatoes, carrots and bun, $15; or 10 cabbage rolls, $15. Pay by credit card or exact cash.
