MYCITYCARE – DELIVERY DRIVERS FOR FOOD HAMPERS
MyCityCare is an initiative developed by MyVictory Church to resource the community in areas of food and water, housing, clothing, health care and social justice, to give people a hand up into a hope filled future. MyCityCare is looking for drivers to deliver food hampers to those in selfisolation or isolation, to

TETRA SOCIETY OF NORTH AMERICA – COMMUNITY OUTREACH CO-ORDINATOR
Tetra Society of North America is a non-profit organization that empowers people with disabilities through volunteer-built custom assistive devices that overcome obstacles to independence. They are looking for an enthusiastic, outgoing individual to help raise awareness about their
organization. The successful candidate will network and cultivate relationships with local health-care professionals, disability and seniors’ organizations, and community members. They will distribute promotional material, schedule presentations, and seek out direct-to-client advertising opportunities throughout the city. The ability to work independently is essential. STITCH IT FORWARD SOCIETY – SEWING VOLUNTEERS
By working on meaningful and helpful items, volunteers will help others in need. Stitch It Forward is looking for volunteers to help them sew Personal Protective
Equipment to be used because of new health standards. Items to be sewn include; uniform washing bags (simple draw string pattern), ear saves (headbands with buttons, and other designs), and cloth washable masks. They can supply all materials you need and assistance can be given by the Stitch It Forward staff via email, phone, or through their Facebook page. No-contact pickup and drop off for supplies. For sewing projects, you must have your own sewing machine. You will work from home, read easy, stepby-step instructions or make own pattern all on your own schedule. Lethbridge Family Services is a highly accredited, charitable human services organization that improves the well-being and quality of life for individuals and families in Southwestern Alberta. They are looking for volunteers who would help create a more welcoming and inclusive city by volunteering as a Conversation Circle Partner and engage with newcomers to Canada.
Conversation Circle Volunteers help newcomers adjust to life in Canada by practising basic conversational English needed to participate in community life, and by socializing and sharing information about resources, community, and culture.
