• The Lethbridge Revellers would like to inform all their members that there will be no further Dinner & Games Night events or Revellers Bus Trips until 2021, due to the recent happenings with the COVID-19 pandemic. • Blankets for Canada Lethbridge regrets that it must close its doors for the foreseeabl­e future due to COVID 19 numbers. We are unable to accept donations or provide blankets at this time. Please hang onto your squares and blankets for the short term. We will resume again when COVID numbers go down again. Thank you for your continued support.

• The Ladies Auxiliary to the Royal Canadian Legion would like to inform members that there will be no auxiliary activities until the COVID-19 situation is under control.

• Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organizati­on is launching the Drive Happiness program where volunteer drivers take seniors to their medical appointmen­ts, to pick up groceries or take them to important life activities. The Drive Happiness program is looking for volunteers to assist as drivers. Many seniors in our community are facing extreme loneliness due to the lack of accessible transporta­tion in the community and COVID-19 has only compounded this loneliness. • Lethbridge Public Library is seeking artwork for the Kids’ Art Show Gala. What does it mean to IMAGINE? Artists 12 years old and under can enter to win our prize draw by creating a work of art based on this year’s theme “Imagine” and submitting it for display at the Kids’ Art Show Gala to be held in December. Art can be submitted throughout the month of November on our website, lethlib.ca, or at the Children’s Services Desk at the Main Branch.

• Barons United Church Thrift Shop, at 113 Main St., Barons, is open, with opening days depending on health guidelines during the COVID-19 pandemic. Mondays Nov. 16-Dec. 28, 4:30-7:30 and every Saturday from Nov. 28-Dec. 19 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Closed Thursdays Dec. 24 and 31. Check out the great deals. Because of the shop’s small size, wearing a mask is mandatory. Clean, gently used donations are greatly appreciate­d. Call 403-757-2229 or 403330-6274 to make arrangemen­ts or drop in when open.

• Mindful Moments is offered every Saturday (except long weekends) from 11 a.m.-noon at Martha Retreat Centre, 1130 Scenic Drive S., featuring a drop-in session based in Mindfulnes­s teachings that combines a short talk with formal group meditation in silence. No experience is necessary. Facilitato­r: Cheryl Dick. Freewill offering accepted. Official income tax receipts available upon request. • Bold ‘n Brave, a local organizati­on that inspires youth to be confident and learn life skills, is hosting a free familyfrie­ndly scavenger hunt from Nov. 20-30. • Christmas at Casa Holiday Market is operating online this year, running Nov. 20-Dec. 1 at the Christmasa­tCasa.ca website, featuring more than 40 vendors offering handmade fine art and fine crafts. Depending on the vendor, there are options for local drop-off, shipping and safe curbside pick-up at AAC Works on 7 Street S.

• Nord-Bridge Seniors Centre presents “Virtual Winter Wonderland” Nov. 30 starting live at 1 p.m. Get into the spirit of Christmas from the comfort of your home live through Facebook. • Farming Smarter Conference and Trade Show will be held Dec. 2-3 at Lethbridge Exhibition Park, providing an opportunit­y for farmers to do a little networking, learn some things to prepare for 2021 and check out products from local suppliers. • Martha Retreat Centre offers Exploring Forgivenes­s: One Day Silent Retreat Dec. 12, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Facilitato­r: Hailey Pinksen. Cost: $65 (lunch included). This one-day silent retreat explores forgivenes­s through meditation. We will explore forgivenes­s from the perspectiv­e of lovingkind­ness and curiosity while embracing the stillness of the moment.
